Full Stack Developer at Fluss

Four years at Fluss, a startup building smart gate controllers. I built the APIs and databases on AWS, the apps people tap every day on Android and iOS, and the firmware wherever the product needed it, and ran my projects from backlog to release.

How I work

  1. Plan

Requirements in, a clear plan out.

    • Epics broken into tickets and planned into sprints
    • Acceptance criteria agreed before any code is written
    • One pipeline every feature follows, from backlog to release
  2. Design

Drawn in Figma, then built as drawn.

    • User flows and screens for mobile and web
    • Figma designs turned straight into production code
  3. Build

    Every layer, by one engineer.

    • Android and iOS apps
    • Web apps and dashboards
    • Serverless back ends on AWS
    • The software inside smart devices
  4. Test

    Proved before it ships.

    • Unit and end-to-end tests
    • Developer testing, then QA and user acceptance
    • Business sign-off before anything goes live
  5. Ship

    Releases are routine, not events.

    • CI/CD pipelines that build and deploy
    • App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery
    • A release announcement once it’s live

Intercom System

An intercom that’s just a QR code.

A video intercom in Fluss+. Guests scan a board at the gate and call from the browser; residents answer in the app, see them, talk and let them in.

Support automation

A help centre, and a phone line that has read it.

The Fluss+ help centre and an AI voice agent that answers from it. Articles people, search engines and LLMs all read properly, drafted with Claude Code; and a voice agent on the phone or the web that answers from the same pages.
